A Miyao bronze figure of a samurai standing with legs wide apart and holding a torch, the object in the left hand missing, the garment tucked into the belt, the details in gold. Signed Miyao in a gilded reserve. Screwed to a wooden stand with a phoenix and scrolls in makie. Late 19th century.
