A pear-shaped Yixing teapot and domed cover. The base incised in regular script with the characters Yongzheng er nian jiachen (corresponding to 1724), followed by the seals Hui and Mengchen, the bottom of the handle impressed with the seals fuji and yihe. Mark to cover Shui ping. 18th century. Small chips.
