The plexiglass capsule containing a drop of mercury. Stamped "GARGAT". Diameter top of ring 1.9 cm. Ring size 52. Weight 4.9 g.

The artist and goldsmith Henri Gargat opened his own studio on the Île Saint-Louis in 1957, and was one of the pioneers of French 20th century avant-garde jewellery.
