A wood, ivory and lacquer okimono of a peasant standing on a wooden base with a basket of vegetables between his feet, shouldering a hoe and holding a taro root in his hand, on his robe kama, and on his haori stylized geese in makie. Signed Kôgyoku on a red tablet. Some losses. Early 20th century.
