A gold lacquer lidded box of rectangular shape displaying a landscape with thatched farm houses, a waterfall and a river in takamakie, hiramakie, a little red lacquer and kirikane, nashiji to the inside, the rims lined with silver. Minor traces of usage. Second half 19th century.
