A round kôgo mounted as an inrô. 17th/18th century

A round kôgo mounted as an inrô, inlaid with carved ivory, stained and highlighted in makie, lead, silver, coral, and mother-of-pearl with a Chinese pavilion in a rocky landscape with a pine and ducks in a pond, the sliding doors open to reveal Gentoku and Yôkihi playing the flute, on the other side a phoenix above a mouth organ placed on a carved red lacquer stand. Minor damages. 17th/18th century.
