Katana. Probably 17th century; Koshirae. 19th century

Katana, blade length 89.9 cm, shinogi zukuri, suguha hamon, boshi: kaen, itame-masame hada, nakago: ubu, two mekugi-ana, mei: engraved aoi-mon, Echizen Yasutsugu and nanban tetsu oite Bushû Edo; (probably 3rd generation Yasustugu, 17th century).

Koshirae: Tsuba of iron, mokkô shape, Tenbô style; fuchi-kashira: iron with shishi in gilt relief; menuki: dragon of copper; kojiri of iron; black binding over same, saya: brown and black mottled lacquer. 19th century.
