An unusual iron and lacquer bowl with a rakan-like figure with a dragon and a reishi basket surrounded by lotus in relief and embellished with makie, the eye of the dragon of mother-of-pearl. At the base a Chinese character and an old collector's number in red ink. Late 19th century.
