A Breslau partially gilt silver chalice and cover. Dated 1779 within the engraved motto. Marks presumably of Johann George Gimmig, ca. 1779. H 24.5 cm, weight 284 g.

The Polish town of Zduny mentioned in the motto engraved on this chalice was formerly the Prussian province known as Posen and is located on the Silesian border.
