An important Ulm partially gilt silver beaker and cover. Engraved with the arms of alliance of the families Speth v. Schülzburg and Thurn and Taxis. Marks of Johann Adam Kienlin, ca. 1660. H. 22.5 cm, weight 463 g.

Adam Freiherr Speth v. and zu Schülzburg, Lord of Granheim Erbstetten and Anhausen (died 1693), married Maria Susanne Eleonora v. Thurn and Taxis (1641 - 1700) in 1600. The ancestral home of the Speth v. Schülzburg family, Hayingen-Anhausen castle in the Schwäbisch Alps still exists as a ruin today.
