Two tonkotsu. Second half 19th century

Two tonkotsu, a) carved as the Three Monkeys, the tonkotsu in shape of a monkey holding its ears, the ojime of monkey covering its eyes, and the netsuke of a monkey holding its mouth shut, signed Kunimitsu, and b) of kiri wood inlaid in wood and ivory with a travelling peasant, a flying bird on the lid, and a seal at the back. Restorations and clamps. Late 19th century. (2)
