A Shino mizusashi. 19th century

A Shino mizusashi in shape on a squat bag on a flat foot rim, the beige-coloured body covered by a thick whitish glaze, partly crackled and partly porous, painted in light grey with a design of three hôju and the character fuku in a roundel. Signed Tomo (Yû). Chips to the inside rim and crack. Black lacquer lid. 19th century.
