A pair of carved red lacquer vases on a metal body, of globular shape with a long neck, decorated with four medallions enclosing scenes of scholars in a mountainous landscape under trees, furthermore with lotus scrolls and flowers. The interior and the bottom lacquered black. 18th/19th century. Wooden base. (2)
