A Bhutanese thangka of Jampal Ku Heruka striding in alidhasana on prostrate figures and animals over a lotus base, his consort standing nearby him, Heruka holds in his six outstretched hands a khung bird, a human being, a four pointed blade, a ritual axe, a vajra and a khatvanga staff. He is surrounded by gurus, lamas, Buddhas and wrathful deities each in their individual niche. Gouache on cloth. 19th century. Framed.
