An ivory okimono of a yamabushi with tonkin and two swords, a pannier at the back and holding a staff, accompanied by an old peasant shouldering brushwood and holding an ax, at the feet of both a scroll, a tied up bundle and a hare with eyes of red glass. Signed Hômin with kaô. Late 19th century.
