A Brandenburg partially gilt silver canon's beaker (Domherrenbecher).

Engraved with the coat-of-arms of the old aristocratic family of Knoblauch, below which the owner's inscription "F. L. von Knoblauch, Dohm Herr Zu Brandenburg." Marks of Joachim Ast the Younger, ca. 1725. H 13 cm, weight 279 g.

Friedrich Ludwig von Knoblauch, lord of the manor and supreme judge of Ferchesar in Havelland (1696 - 1770) was awarded the title of Canon by cabinet order of King Frederick William I on 3rd January 1725 following the abdication of Christoph Friedrich von Ribbecks. He carried the title of Cathedral senior as of 1764.
