A Leipzig "Eroica" carved wood musical automaton

The three-comb plate movement of brass and steel, includes nine newer plates and a crank. Company name inscribed to the plaque. With scratches and signs of wear to the socle. H 210, W 72, D 45 cm.

This musical box can play three plates simultaneously, thus offering an entirely different sound quality than a box with a single comb.
