A black lacquer suzuribako, the lid displaying orchids beneath a pine in togidashi maki-e, on the inside of the lid a crane and bamboo in a roundel, inside an ink stone and a mizuire of gilt copper. In addition a brush, an ink holder, a knife and a needle (not belonging). 20th century.
