A handachi wakizashi, blade length 44.9 cm, shinogi zukuri, notare-midare hamon with nioi, nakago: ubu, suriage, one mekugi-ana, silver-plated habaki. 19th century. Traces of rust.
Koshirae: Shakudô tsuba (rubbed) with dragon in katakiri, iron kozuka with tessenka and leaves of copper with inlays of gold and shakudô, iron blade with engraved ken, handachi-mounts in shakudô nanako, shakudô menuki with two puppies, black binding over same, saya: ishime lacquer (damaged). 19th century.
