A bronze figure of a laughing Milefo, also called Budai, seated pot-bellied at ease on a double lotus, the left arm on his bag, in the right hand a strand of prayer beads, on the head a crown with one central Buddha figure. Remains of gilded lacquer patina. Minor damage. Ming dynasty.
