A pair of ivory and silver Shibayama vases. Late 19th century

A pair of Shibayama vases, the ivory body displaying a swimming duck and a duck in flight underneath blossoming wisteria, the foot and neck of silver decorated with flowers, scrolls and patterns in translucent enamels. Signed on two inlaid red lacquer tablets Shinzan and Seifû respectively. Restorations. Late 19th century. (2)
