Inlaid with mahogany, birch and ebonised wood on softwood, with gilt bronze and brass mountings. With later green leather writing surface and silver painted wooden quarter pilasters. An opulent piece of furniture comprising a three drawered commode beneath a two doored cabinet concealing nine drawers around a central compartment containing eight further drawers. With sliding writing surface and two drawers to the surmount. Restored. H 170, W 91, D 51.5 cm.
