A Limoges enamel plaque with St. Catherine

Polychrome enamel, silver foil and gilding on a slightly arched copper panel set in a braided metal frame with a fabric-covered back panel. An octagonal panel with a half-figure depiction of the saint in profile before a dark night sky, with a column to her left and foliage behind a balustrade to her right. Monogrammed "I.L" to the centre left. Minimal retouches to the gold, two small nail-holes. H 13.2, W 11.3 cm.
