A large Danzig silver tureen and presentoire. Marks of Christian von Hausen, ca. 1760 – 64.

Interior gilt. Designed as an oval tureen resting on acanthus clasped pad feet. The handles decorated with vine leaves and grapes in relief, the domed slip lid with corresponding décor and a finial formed as a bunch of grapes. The oval presentoire with acanthus form handles. W of presentoire 57; D 32 cm; W of tureen 37; D 22; H 28 cm, total weight 4,421 g.
