A very large Sukhothai bronze figure of Buddha in maravijaya, seated in paryakasana on a low base, the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, the left in dhyana mudra above the foot, the elegant head with a narrow face, large eyes, a full mouth and large ears, the head and ushnisha covered by tiny conical haircurls. The ketumala is a modern replacement. The surface of the bronze somewhat damaged with repairs and remains of gilded black lacquer. 14th/15th century.
