A six panel screen by an anonymous painter, depicting a number of gibbons in a landscape with trees and a torrent. Ink on paper with gold flecks arranged in cloud shapes. Inscription reading Edokoro azukari keibu daiho Mitsunobu ason hitsu / Bunka san hinoe-tora (1806) kinatsu jûichi dan / edokoro azukari sa-u chûben sakon eshokan Fujiwara Mitsutoki shintei and sealed, the second seal reading Mitsutokin no in. Several small restorations. 17th/18th century.

In the inscription the court painter (edokoro azukari) Tosa Mitsutoki (1764-1819), master in 11th generation, attributes the painting to Tosa Mitsunobu (1434-1525).
