A maki-e lacquer box for paper (kami-bako) with a river landsape in takamaki-e, hiramaki-e and kirikane with a silvery full moon on a black ground, the sides with pine saplings. Very fine nashiji to the interior, and an inside tray. Most corners and edges damaged. 19th century.
