A large four-case inrô. Late 19th century

A large four-case inrô with a takarabune with a full-blown sail loaded with rice bales with cranes standing on top of them and takaramono such as fundô, tsuchi, tamas on a tray, kakure-mino and kakure gasa, at the rear a New Year’s decoration of bamboo, pine saplings and a red lobster, amidst the waves a minogame and three flying cranes. Nashiji to the inside. Signed Heisensai. Late 19th century. Together with a coral-coloured ojime.
