A South Indian Tamil Nadu copper alloy figure of a four-armed Kali, seated with one leg pendant on a lotus base, the foot placed on the subdued demon Raktabija, in her hands damaru, shankha and kapala, the weapon in her main right hand missing, a string, a type of yajnopavita, hangs from her left shoulder, the hair arranged flame-like around her head. 16th century.
