Two Belle Epoque star brooches

One of silver, one 14k gold. Bombé-form brooches set with 49 old-cut diamonds, the larger in total ca. 5.70ct (central stones ca. 1.25 ct, 6 x ca. 0.35 ct, 12 x ca. 0.15 ct, 12 x ca. 0.10 ct, 12 x ca. 0.05 ct, M-O, primarily vs), the smaller in total ca. 3.52ct (central stones ca. 1 ct, 6 x ca. 0.25, 12 x ca. 0.15 ct, 12 x ca. 0.04 ct, 12 x ca. 0.02 ct, M-O). Later brooch mountings. Diameter 4.2 cm and 3.5 cm. Total weight 19.9 g.
