A Meissen porcelain tureen and stand

Decorated at Augsburg with rich gilding completely covering the primary decoration in underglaze blue. The stand with "goldchinesen" on scrollwork supports and birds on branches. Blue crossed swords mark with S to the base of the dish, the plate with blue crossed swords mark with S-shaped guards, blue "W" to the footring and unidentified dreher's mark. Minimal wear to the gilding. H tureen 10.5, diameter of stand 22.5 cm.
