A terracotta figure of a bathing woman

Polychromed and with remains of gilding. Moulded in the round and almost life size figure standing on an oval plinth. She leans against a rock formation wearing a red drapery and holding a small ointment jar, her hair bound in a Classical style. Later scratches to the front of the plinth. H 123 cm.
Late 18th / early 19th C.
