A Russian gilt metal easter egg with biblical scenes

Possibly of bronze. Depicting the Crucifixion and the Resurrection after painted or engraved models, surrounded by strapwork and rocailles in the Baroque taste. With a hanging loop for suspension from a crown of thorns. Engraved: Je.C. OUIOT and G.A. OUIOT (the first names in Cyrillic). Two casting holes to the sides filled with lead(?), wear to the gilding. H ca. 12.5 cm.
Mid- to 2nd half 19th C.
