A Thai bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni seated in meditation on a lotus above a hexagonal pedestal with an engraved inscription, the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, the left hand in dhyana mudra above the feet, the head and ushnisha covered by tiny hair curls, the ketumala missing. Good, shiny black patina. 17th/18th century.
