An aikuchi, blade length 21.7 cm, hira-zukuri, gunome hamon with nie, mokume-itame hada. Nakago: ubu, one mekugi-ana, mei: Toshû jû Nobuhide, active around 1800, silvered copper habaki.
Koshirae: aikuchi-koshirae with iron fuchi-kashira, koiguchi und kojiri with blotchy silver nunome, shakudô and gold menuki of armour parts, uragawara and kurigata replaced in buffalo horn, kozuka missing, tsuka with black leather binding over same, black lacquer saya with fine irregular stripes and aogai. 19th century.
