Two East Indian brass figures of Durga, a) riding on a lion above a rectangular base, holding trishula, khadga, pasha and patra, within a pointed arch, 17th/18th century or earlier, and b) Durga Mahishasuramardini standing on the buffalo demon Mahishasura, whose head lies on the base, stabbing it with a trishula and grabbing it by the hair, in the upper arms khadga and pasha, her lion attacking the demon from behind, with an ornamental arch. 13th/14th century.
