A graceful Nepalese gilt bronze figure of Tara. 15th century

Standing in gentle tribhanga on a lotus base, with her right hand raised in vitarka mudra, holding in her left hand the water vessel resting on a nagakesara tree, clad in a sheer dhoti incised with an ornate pattern, adorned with a sash and jewellery. The base sealed and incised with a double-vajra.
Height 16.8 cm
