A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni. 18th century

The richly gilt figure is seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, with the right hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the gesture of touching the earth, the left rests in his lap, wearing a sanghati incised with floral and geometric patterns, at the figure´s forehead an urna. Base sealed, base plate incised with a double-vajra.
