A Sinotibetan gilt bronze figure of Virudhaka. 18th century

The guardian king of the southern direction, seated on a pedestal, holding the hilt of a sword (blade missing) in his right hand and a wishing jewel in his upraised left hand, wearing a suit of armour and boots, and adorned with a billowing sash. Pedestal painted in red. Base sealed and incised with a double-vajra.
