Two Canton painted enamel on copper sweetmeats cabarets, each in a lacquered wooden box. Around 1900

Each consisting of a round dish at the center surrounded by eight fan-shaped dishes, painted in famille rose colours with a) figures in a landscape with a verse and seal, and b) with flower sprays, to the base of all of them an orchid mark. The boxes decorated in black lacquer and engraving with a) a dragon and a flaming pearl, and b) with a phoenix and peonies on a reddish-brown lacquer ground. Most of the dishes restored and lacquered, the boxes with minor traces of usage. (2)
