A Canton painted enamel on copper sweetmeat cabaret in wooden box. Early 20th century

Consisting of a round dish at the centre, surrounded by eight fan-shaped dishes painted in famille rose enamels with a still life of vases and archaic vessels, at the base an orchid mark. The lid of the box with a central shou medallion and rain dragons in brown on a black laquer ground. Some of the dishes with restorations, many of them lacquered.
