A wakizashi. Length of the blade 49.5 cm, shinogi-zukuri, choji-gunome hada, blade, nakago: ubu, one mekugi-ana, mei: Yamamoto Musashi no Kami Minamoto Katsuyoshi (17th century?), double layer habaki of gold-plated copper with yasurime.
Koshirae: Handachi-koshirae of shakudô subdivided into nanako panels with nanako, iron tsuba with a shishi in relief, signed: Unzan and kaô, kozuka missing, green binding on same, shakudô menuki in shape of a beetle, saya: black mottled lacquer. 19th century.
