A group of three ivory netsuke of a) the god Kashima holding down the namazu with a gourd, the eye pupils of black horn, inscribed Ikkôsai, b) a luckless rat catcher. Sign., and c) an oni disguised as a priest (oni nenbutsu), a subscription list attached to his obi with characters reading hôgachô. Late 19th century. (3)
