A Shibayama ivory netsuke of a caparisoned horse standing on an oval base and wearing red-stained translucent horn robes with tassels of light coral, the saddle cloth with chrysanthemums in mother-of-pearl and brass, the saddle of horn with gold wire. Signed Shibayama in an ornamental reserve. Late 19th century.
