A platinum Ceylon sapphire pendant

Cluster set with a cushion shaped mixed-cut Ceylon sapphire (ca. 9.29 x 8.83 x 4.09 mm, ca. 4.60 ct, vivid cornflower blue) surrounded by 12 old-cut and transition-cut diamonds. Suspending a droplet with diamonds and an Oriental pearl (ca. 6.08 x 8.70 mm). Including a fine French chain with seed pearls. The 18k white gold chain stamped with Paris gold hallmarks. Minimal hairline cracks to the pearl. H pendant 4 cm. L chain 58 cm.

Gemstone assay report no. 027718 dated 9.11.2017 from the DSEF, Idar Oberstein, confirming the blue stone in this pendant with diamonds and a natural salt water pearl to be a natural sapphire with no signs of heat treatmet (NTE). Origin: Sri Lanka. Tested in the setting, the diamonds and the pearl spot tested.
