A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Bhaisajyaguru. 17th/18th century

Seated in vajrasana on a double-lotus base, holding the myrobalan-fruit in his right hand and a bowl in his left, wearing a monk's robe with hems incised with foliate pattern, backed by a separately cast and embossed flaming aureole. Base open.
Height 19 cm (including the aureole)
