A large lacquer platter inlaid with mother of pearl. 18th century

A five-lobed flat platter of brown lacquer inlaid in colourful, shimmering mother of pearl with a five-petalled flower at the centre, each petal filled with a different geometric pattern. A border of flowers and tendrils around the edge. The underside lacquered brown. Damaged, restored. Cloth bag and wooden box.
