A low table. Korea 19th century

Decorated in flat mother of pearl with a rectangular reserve to the top filled with 40 roundels featuring animals such as tigers, phoenix, dragon, bats and butterflies, and Daoist symbols, flowering plants and geometric patterns, surrounded by shaped reserves of fruiting and flowering branches against a geometric pattern. The sides and diagonally set legs with branches, blossoms and leaves. Damaged.
