A bronze figure of a laughing crowned Milefo, also called Budai, seated pot-bellied and at ease on a base with four Chinese characters, holding a strand of prayer beads in his right hand and resting his left hand on the head of an animal, to both his sides a standing boy. Traces of gilded lacquer. Probably 17th century.
