An Orissa copper alloy altar of a four-armed Durga in two parts, the deity standing with her right foot on her lion and with her left foot on the buffalo demon, in her main hands the trishula, in the other hands chakra and shanka, at the ornate base the severed head of the buffalo demon, at the back an inserted prabha. 14th/16th century.
